Welcome Reception

Tickets: Included in Full Registration categories (categories A and B). Not included in Student/ Special Consideration (C, D and G) or Day (E and F) registration categories

An invitation is extended to all delegates to attend the official Congress Welcome Reception. This is an excellent opportunity to renew old friendships and make new acquaintances as we extend a warm welcome to Sydney and Australia with delicious canapés, lively food stations and refreshments.
Aussie Food Festival

Address: Piers 19-21 Upper Deck, 26-32 Pirrama Road Pyrmont (approximately 15 minutes walk from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre)

Tickets: Included in Registration categories B, D and F. Not included in Registration categories A, C,E or G.

The social highlight of the 16th International Congress of Dietetics 2012 will be the ‘Aussie Food Festival’ evening event. Come and celebrate our “Australia of Yesterday and Today” at a spectacular waterfront venue on the foreshore of the beautiful Sydney Harbour.
Renowned for a genuine passion for cuisine, their love of food at Doltone House is reflected in their menus. All meals are prepared with local, sustainable produce of the highest calibre, and all meat is prepared according to halal standards.
Instead of a formal, sit-down dinner, enjoy service from five different food stations including two BBQ Stations, and three grazing stations complimented by circulated canapé items
NB: Guests to make their own way to and from Doltone House. A walking map will be provided when you collect your dinner ticket upon registration at the Congress.
